It is a committee of community members who came together to develop a food system in order to meet the nutritional needs of low-income people who live in our border region and promote Food Sovereignty as a unifying platform , also claim the right to a diet in healthy, sustainable and produced in a safe, dignified work environments.
SEMBRANDOFUTUROS
(Seeds for the future) Helps the needs of low-income families afford organic food by making backyard farms. Educational workshops and nutritional awareness classes are available to participants.
AMY YOUNG BARRIER REMOVAL
Through TDHCA, this program provides a subsidy of up to $ 20,000 for people with disabilities who need modifications to increase accessibility and eliminate hazardous conditions at home.
HOME
Through TDHCA, this program provides a grant to low-income families with the purpose of achieving their conversion title. With this grant, property debt is settled and they built a new house.
COMMUNITYHEALTH WORKERS
AYUDA is certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services to train and certify Communtiy Health Workers.

HEALTH PROGRAMS
Health classes are held to educate and raise awareness on topics such as chronic diseases and prevention. We also provide vouchers for exams and vaccines for those who qualify.

AEROBICS, CROSSFIT & ZUMBA etc
Classes for seniors, adults and children are available with the option of day care for children at no cost.

FOOD PANTRY
Food is distributed to low-income families each month.

TAX PREPARATION
We offer free tax preparation for households with annual income of up to $ 53,000.
